What ports can I use to connect to Newsrazor?

Your account with Newsrazor gives you access to several server farms located in both the US and Europe to ensure the fastest connection to our system. 

If you are experiencing slow connection speeds, you should try using one of the alternate ports shown below. For more security, privacy, and in some cases speed, you can use one of our Privacy Protector SSL encrypted servers which will provide 256bit encrypted connections with supported newsreader software.

To connect to our European servers:

  • - European NNTP servers accessible using port 119 or alternatively 443 or 8080 (for fastest access from European countries)
